India Department of Science and Technology — Joint Call on Urban Water Systems

The India Department of Science and Technology (DST) and the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) seeks projects that design one joint Indian-Dutch research programme to develop integrated and sustainable urban water management systems and implement effective solutions. The call seeks participants for a multiday interactive brainstorm workshop in India (27-30 November 2018), in which a selected group of Indian and Dutch researchers will be mobilised to jointly design the research programme. The NGS seeks proposals from around the world that advance the science of nature communication by systematically testing visual communication and education methods. The call is intended for visual artists, photographers, and videographers who aim to more effectively create and use images or video to overcome apathy towards species and ecosystems. One Young World — Mary Robinson Climate Justice Award 2018

One Young World seeks applications for its Mary Robinson Climate Justice Award 2018. Submitted projects must addresses sustainable development and/or climate change with a particular emphasis on balancing the needs of present and future generations, i.e. poverty reduction, conserve or sustainably manage natural and cultural heritage, or climate education. The winner will receive £5 thousand to support or launch their project and a fully sponsored delegate place to attend the One Young World Summit 2018 in The Hague (Netherlands). African Institute for Mathematical Sciences — Small Research Grants in Climate Change Science

The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences Next Einstein Initiative (AIMS) invites early-career academics from Africa to apply for the AIMS Small Research Grants in Climate Change Science. AIMS will support community-driven projects that are at the upper limit of the research-innovation value chain. British Council — International Research Workshops: Sustainable Energy and Climate Change in Russia

The British Council supports research workshops under the programs Researcher Links and the Newton Fund to assist early-career researchers from the UK and Russia to interact and explore research collaborations. The workshop ‘Sustainable Energy and Climate Change in Russia: policies, discourses and narratives’ will provide an opportunity for sharing research expertise and networking. During the workshop, Early Career Researchers will have the opportunity to present their research.
