United Nations — Ocean Law Fellowship Programme

The United Nations Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea (DOALOS) and the Nippon Foundation seek applications for a 9-month Fellowship Programme. The Programme seeks to provide the necessary knowledge and skills to assist developing States towards the formulation of comprehensive ocean law and policy. Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa — Capacity Development in Agricultural Research

The Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) invites applications for the Agricultural Research and Innovation Fellowship for Africa (ARIFA). Qualified African candidates will be trained in ARIFA-affiliated universities and centers of Agricultural Research for Development (AR4D) in affiliated countries abroad. The fellowship covers international air travel, tuition fees and a monthly stipend. Applicants must be under 35 years old and be citizens of one of the following countries: Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Niger, Kenya, Sudan, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda. Bayer Foundations — International Fellowship Program

The Bayer International Fellowship Program consists of five scholarship programs that offer financial support to foreign students and young professionals pursuing a project in Germany. (Note: German students and young professionals can apply to realize a study or research project abroad.) Students in the field of veterinary medicine can apply for the Carl Duisberg Scholarship. Students in the fields of agro sciences, green biotechnology, environmental sciences and sustainability can apply for the Jeff Schell Scholarship. Indo-US Science and Technology Forum — Fellowship for Women in STEMM

The IUSSTF invites Indian women to apply for the Indo-U.S. Fellowship for Women in STEMM (WISTEMM)” (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine) program at reputed scientific/technological institutions in the USA. Project research areas include agricultural sciences, among many others. The program includes health insurance, airfare, and a monthly stipend of US$2,500. Eligibility extends to Indian women currently pursuing Ph.D. degree in Basic Sciences, Engineering or Technology on a full-time basis at any recognized academic institution/R&D institute/university in India. German Academic Exchange Service — Postdoctoral Researchers International Mobility Experience 2019

DAAD collaborates with the EC’s Marie Curie Program to offer the Postdoctoral Researchers International Mobility Experience (PRIME) for outstanding postdoctoral researchers across all disciplines and nationalities. Funding is provided for 18 months, of which 12 months are spent abroad and 6 months at a German university. The funding consists of salaries instead of scholarships. Singularity University — MENA Global Impact Challenge

SingularityU invites applications for the MENA Global Impact Challenge to foster innovations and startups that positively impact the lives of people living in the Middle East and North Africa. Thematic areas include sustainable energy, climate-secure agriculture, and others. The winner of this challenge will be selected at a final pitch event and receive a full scholarship to attend SU’s Global Startup Program (GSP). U.S. Department of State — YSEALI Academic Fellowship

The Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) is a program of the U.S. government to support bright young leaders in the ASEAN countries. The YSEALI Academic Fellowship offer support to participate in a five-week institute on the campus of a U.S. university or college in one of the following topics: civil engagement; environmental issues; or social entrepreneurship and economic development. The fellowships include leadership development, an educational study tour, local community service activities, and opportunities to engage with peers in the USA. SFFILM — Vulcan Productions Environmental Fellowship

SFFILM invites applications for the Vulcan Productions Environmental Fellowship. The call is directed to documentary filmmakers telling powerful stories about the environment and/or conservation. Environmental filmmakers from any nationality are invited to apply. The fellowship includes a US$25 thousand grant, an advisor with expertise in the specific environmental topic, access to SFFILM’s dynamic suite of artist development services, and a trip to San Francisco and Vulcan Production’s headquarters in Seattle to partake in workshops and other activities. RMTI University — Scholarships 2019

The RMTI University offers scholarships for international students undertaking a degree at the University’s College of Science, Engineering and Health. Courses in the Science department include environmental science, food science, biological sciences, among others. Eligible candidates must be citizens of Indonesia, Malaysia or Singapore that achieve a minimum of  70% average in their highest level of education award. The scholarship total value is AU$10 thousand. The deadline for applications is 14 June 2019 (Semester 2 2019), and 15 January 2020 (Semester 1 2020). Find out more
