U.S. Department of State — Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowships 2026-2027

The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program supports non-degree academic study and related professional experiences in the U.S. for experienced professionals from Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Fellows are hosted at universities in the USA. Program fields include agriculture and rural development; natural resources, environmental policy, climate change; and many others. SUNx Malta — Climate Friendly Travel Scholarships

SUNx Malta provides 50 full scholarships for a two-year online diploma program. The program aims to train young graduates from Least Developed Countries, Small Island Developing States, and other developing nations to become Climate Friendly Travel Champions, leading sustainable tourism initiatives in their home countries. United Nations University — MSc in Geography of Environmental Risks and Human Security

The United Nations University (UNU) and the University of Bonn welcome applicants for the international joint MSc program, “Geography of Environmental Risks and Human Security.” The ideal candidate has a strong interest or experience in human-nature relations and risk governance in the Global South. Women and applicants from developing countries are strongly encouraged to apply. Heinrich Böll Foundation — Green Foreign Policy Fellowship

The Green Foreign Policy Fellowship supports scholars, practitioners, and experts worldwide in advancing progressive foreign and security policy. Fellows receive a €6,000 stipend, travel support, and opportunities for international networking and policy engagement. Applicants must be recent graduates, PhD candidates, or professionals with a background in international relations or political science, and a demonstrated interest in green foreign policy. Forrest Research Foundation — Research Fellowship

The Forrest Research Foundation at the University of Western Australia offers research fellowships to attract early-career post-doctoral researchers. IHE Delft Institute for Water Education — SIDS Scholarship

The IHE Delft Institute for Water Education offers SIDS Scholarships for the MSc Programme in Water and Sustainable Development, targeting professionals from Small Island Developing States. The scholarship covers tuition fees, insurance, international travel costs, and a monthly allowance of €1,220 for living and accommodation expenses during the study period. African Plant Nutrition Institute — Phosphorus Fellowship

The African Plant Nutrition Institute (APNI) accepts applications for the Young African Phosphorus Fellowship. This program aims to support early-career scientists working in African National Agricultural Research and Extension Systems institutions or universities who are conducting innovative research on phosphorus management in African agro-ecosystems. APNI will award up to five fellowships of US$5,000 each. Applicants must be full-time scientists at an African NARES institution or university. The application deadline is 30 June 2025. Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development — Fellowships Program

The Arab Fund Fellowships Program provides Arab Ph.D. holders with opportunities to conduct research and/or teach internationally. The fellowship provides maintenance allowances (about US$50 thousand over a period of 12 months), round-trip tickets for the beneficiaries and the eligible members of their families. Arab nationals who are currently working at universities in Arab member countries are eligible to apply.
