Korea SHE Foundation promotes and creates safe and sustainable households, workplaces and local communities. The grant will fund community projects that are related to safety, health, and environment, e.g., campaigns, workshops, training programs, content production, etc. Projects can focus on finding solutions to and promote clean air and water, sustainable agriculture, clean energy, climate action, conservation, environmental education and environmental justice. OPEC Fund for International Development — Young Professional Development Program
The Young Professional Development Program (YPDP) is a two-year program designed to prepare young professionals from OPEC Fund member countries for a career in global development. The themes include poverty reduction, energy and sustainable development, environment, and other related science and technology fields. YPDP offers training, coaching and mentoring, the opportunity to experience different departments and access to professional networks. SEED — Starter Workshop for Eco-Enterprises in India
SEED offers valuable resources and professional support to expand entrepreneurial ideas while learning from peers during interactive SEED Starter workshops. SEED Starter workshops consist of a team of 2-5 members that bring in a business idea for addressing environmental, social and economic challenges. Successful alumni are invited to apply for a SEED Grant for up to €1,000 which pays for resources required to establish the new enterprise. U.S. Embassy Morocco — TechCamp for Climate Change
The U.S. Embassy Morocco announces an open grant competition to award a cooperative agreement to organize a regional Intercultural TechCamp for Climate Change. The Embassy invites proposals from climate-change-focused organizations. Funding of up to US$100 thousand is available for the implementation of the program. Eligibility is limited to non-profit Moroccan organizations, associations, think tanks, public or private institutions, or civil society organizations with expertise in environmental programming and climate change. U.S. Mission to Indonesia — Summit for Young Leaders in Southeast Asia
The U.S. Mission to Indonesia seeks a local partner to organize and host the annual Indonesia Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Summit 2023. The award recipient will be responsible for planning, organizing, and administering the youth-focused summit to take place in-person in Jakarta or Bali, in December 2023. European Commission — Women-led Green Partnership Program
The EU-Vietnam Women-led Green Partnership Program seeks to support women to influence decision-making processes on climate change and environmental conservation policies and actions in Vietnam. Proposals should mainly target improving access to decent jobs and entrepreneurship opportunities in the green economy and the circular economy for women and girls. Proposed actions will be financed with up to €5 million. Eligibility extends to non-profit civil society organizations established in a Member State of the European Union or in Vietnam. The Green Changemakers Challenge is a global innovation competition for social entrepreneurs in selected markets with ventures that equip individuals and communities with the skills needed to thrive in the transition to a green economy. The challenge seeks social entrepreneurs with ventures that solve the climate crisis along with social problems. IUCN and UNEP — Global Ecosystem-based Adaptation
The Global Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) Fund supports scaling up innovative approaches to ecosystem-based adaptation to increase the resilience of communities against the impacts of climate change. The goal is to build awareness and understanding of the critical role of natural assets in underpinning resilience and expand the knowledge base to help make the case for working with people and nature. The fund is open for contributions of US$50 thousand to US$250 thousand, with no specified country focus. The maximum project duration is 36 months. International Journalists’ Programmes — Fellowship for Climate and Energy Topics
International Journalists’ Programmes (IJP) announces a special fellowship for journalists interested in reporting in the field of climate and energy. Ten journalists, who are granted the climate & energy bursary, will receive training, support, and are welcome to pursue transnational research on a common topic during their fellowship. Each fellow will receive a stipend of €3.800 to help cover travel costs, accommodation and personal expenses. Eligibility extends to journalists working for any print, radio, online or TV media in Germany, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, and Slovakia. Explorers Club — Discovery Expedition Grants
The Explorers Club offers expedition grants to field researchers. Grants can be used to cover fieldwork in biological sciences, archaeology, anthropology, paleontology, earth sciences, ecology, and astronomy. Grants support researchers and explorers from around the world and generally range from US$25 thousand to US$40 thousand. (Note: Grant recipients must provide first right of refusal to cover their expedition, and will have access to Discovery Channel’s global audience through their digital and television programing.)
