Embassy of Finland in Kyiv — Local Cooperation Fund Ukraine
The Embassy of Finland seeks applications from local Ukrainian NGOs for projects to be funded by the Local Cooperation Fund (LCF). The project should focus on energy and environment; or education and training. The total amount to be disbursed to the selected projects is €500 thousand. Deloitte — Lead2030 Challenge for SDG 13 (Climate Action)
The Young One World Lead2030 Challenge for SDG 13 seeks to support scalable youth-led solutions that address climate change. The challenge welcomes solutions from young innovators (18-30 years old). The winner will receive a US$50 thousand project startup grant and 12 months of mentorship from Deloitte professionals. United States-India Educational Foundation — Fulbright-Kalam Climate Fellowship 2025-26
The Fulbright-Kalam Climate Fellowship aims to build long-term capacity in the USA and India by engaging both countries in research and education on climate change. The program offers research fellowships for PhD students in India who will affiliate with a U.S. institution for six to nine months. It also offers postdoctoral fellowships of eight to twelve months for Indian faculty and researchers who are in the early stages of their research careers in India. The fellowships provide air travel between India and the USA; a monthly stipend; accident and sickness insurance, a modest settling-in allowance; a professional allowance; and a dependent allowance (under certain circumstances). Energy Globe Award for Sustainability — Awards 2024
The Energy Globe Award recognizes outstanding projects worldwide that conserve and protect natural resources, and that employ renewable energy. Energy Globe seeks innovative projects and smart technologies in five categories: Earth, Fire, Water, Air, and Youth. The international winners in each of the five categories receive €2000 in prize money. Applicants can be individuals as well as organizations (i.e., private companies and corporations, development NGOs, community associations, government agencies, universities, and others) that contribute to climate change and other environmental issues. Cultural Survival — Small Grants for Indigenous-led Projects
The Keepers of the Earth Fund (KOEF) is a small grant fund supporting Indigenous values-based community development. Grants range between US$500 and US$7 thousand and are awarded to Indigenous-led projects, organizations, and groups worldwide. Ashden Awards — International Awards for Sustainable Energy 2024
Ashden supports projects in sustainable energy in the UK and the developing world. The awards are made to pioneers in sustainable energy, saving energy, generating renewable energy, or promoting behavior change. The competition for the International Awards is open to businesses, NGOs, government organizations, and social enterprises whose activities take place in low- and middle-income countries worldwide. Winners are supported with prize money up to £25 thousand, plus assistance with mentoring and networking. The Climate Research Workshop offers a unique training experience for individuals from Africa who are passionate about addressing climate change issues.
