The Africa Earth Observation Challenge (AEO Challenge) is an open innovation competition aimed at fostering African early‑stage businesses across all sectors that leverage Earth Observation data to tackle pressing development challenges—such as climate change, agriculture, disaster risk reduction, natural resource monitoring, sustainable development, and healthcare. Eligible applicants must be based anywhere in Africa. UNU Global AI Network — Global Youth AI Future Innovation Competition

The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation (PA2F) Environmental Photography Award aims to reward photographers who put their creativity to good use in raising awareness on environmental protection. Photographers are invited to reflect on our relationship towards nature and the interrelation between human health and planetary health. Images can be entered in 5 categories: Polar Wonders, Beneath the Canopy, Life under the Surface, Humanity versus Nature, and Towards a Sustainable Future. Arab Gulf Programme for Development — Prize for Human Development
The Prince Talal International Prize for Human Development supports efforts aiming at the promotion and enhancement of human development concepts. The objective is to highlight innovative experiences and continuously support distinguished efforts in various fields of development. The 2025 Prize honors projects and initiatives in line with SDG 7 “Affordable and Clean Energy”. Prizes range from US$100 thousand to US$400 thousand. Projects implemented by UN agencies, international or regional NGOs, governmental bodies, social business enterprises, and individuals are eligible. The Garden Club of America (GCA) offers several grants, prizes, and fellowships for students enrolled at universities in the USA, including some awards that have a tropical focus. The IFF Global Green Finance Award seeks innovative green finance solutions worldwide. Lever for Change — Emerging Climate Champions Award
The Emerging Climate Champions Award provides flexible multiyear grants of $1 million each to youth-led (ages 15–35) climate organizations worldwide. It supports groups with at least two years of active operations, community leadership, and measurable climate impact—spanning initiatives in climate justice, conservation, sustainable agriculture, resilience, movement building, and more. The Elsevier Foundation Green and Sustainable Chemistry Challenge is open to individuals and organizations whose projects use green and sustainable chemistry solutions to tackle climate change challenges.
