The World Trade Organization (WTO) seeks applications from qualified young professionals (up to 32 years) who are nationals of a developing or least-developed country. The Young Professionals Program (YPP) offers selected young professionals the opportunity to gain work experience in the WTO. Each professional may express interest in up to three areas of the WTO, including Agriculture, Sanitary and Phytosanitary measures, Trade, and Environment, among many others. One Young World — IUCN World Conservation Congress
One Young World provides scholarships to global changemakers to participate in the IUCN World Conservation Congress 2025 in Abu Dhabi. Participants will join global leaders and have the opportunity to present their entrepreneurial solutions to influential decision-makers. Applicants should be between 18 and 35 years and have demonstrated leadership and experience in developing and implementing environmental action projects in the fields of nature conservation, biodiversity, climate change, and / or sustainable development. Toilet Board Coalition — Virtual Program
The Toilet Board Coalition’s Accelerator is a 12-month virtual program designed to support sanitation businesses in emerging markets across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. The Climate Mitigation Prize seeks startups developing technologies or business models to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and combat the root causes of climate change. The Climate Adaptation Prize is for startups developing solutions that help communities and ecosystems adapt to the impacts of climate change. Participants receive customized expert support to refine their business models and access to investors. African Plant Nutrition Institute — Plant Nutrition Scholar Award
The Plant Nutrition Scholar Award program offers ten awards of US$2,000 to students in the disciplines of soil science, agronomy, and horticultural or tree crop science with a focus on plant nutrition. Common Fund for Commodities — Support for Commodity Development
The Common Fund for Commodities (CFC) provides financial and technical instruments to support projects proposed by enterprises, cooperatives, and institutions. Funding is targeted mainly to for-profit organizations and social enterprises for production, value chains, and marketing across a wide group of commodities (crops, tree crops, timber, bamboo and rattan, minerals, and others). Projects need to focus on economic, social, and environmental sustainability. Innovative solutions for new agri-tech applications, access to renewable energy, or expanding environmental services are especially welcome. Amazon Web Services — Compute for Climate
The AWS Compute for Climate Fellowship supports startups and innovators using cloud computing to develop scalable climate solutions. The program provides selected fellows with up to US$100 thousand in AWS credits, technical mentorship, and access to AWS experts to accelerate their projects in areas such as climate modeling, carbon tracking, and sustainable technology. Applicants should be early-stage founders or researchers leveraging cloud computing for climate impact. The fellowship is open to global participants. The Water-Energy-Food (WEF) Nexus Training 2025 provides capacity-building for professionals working at the intersection of water, energy, and food security. Roots — Micro-Grants
The Roots Micro-Grants Program supports youth-led projects to empower voices from the Global South to advocate for climate justice. The program provides grants of up to US$10 thousand to initiatives that prioritize climate justice and social equity. The program will provide grants for between 10-15 grassroots youth-led initiatives, with a focus on groups in Latin America, the Caribbean, the Middle East, North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, and South Asia. 776 Foundation — Tackling Climate Change
The 776 Fellowship is a two-year, full-time program. Fellows will receive a US$100 thousand grant over two years to work on projects to fight climate change instead of pursuing a university degree. Fellows must be ages 18 to 24 and can live anywhere in the world. Fellows will have access to founder networks, various programming, and access to a venture fund’s operating system. The Environmental Justice in Technology (EJIT) Fellowship is a remote, 12-week program supporting projects at the intersection of environmental justice and technology. The fellowship provides a US$3,000 stipend for four fellows dedicating approximately 20 hours per week. Fellows will engage in one of four focus areas: digital zine publishing, climate misinformation research, educational material development, or creative cultural interventions.
