European Commission — Floating Wind Energy Deployment
The European Commission (EC) offers grants for innovation on floating wind energy deployment optimized for deep waters and different sea basins (Mediterranean Sea, Black Sea, Baltic Sea, North-east Atlantic Ocean). The proposal is expected to deploy in one of the sea basins in Europe. SOAS University offers free massive open online courses (MOOCs) to get an introduction in a new subject. MOOCs are general level courses that require only one to two hours commitment each week. The Youth Consortium — Youth Champion in Nutrition
The Youth Consortium launches a call for applications to identify a champion in Nutrition. The challenge is open to African early-career professionals (under 35 years) who work along the value chains of Agro-Food Systems or expertise in Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Security. Media Foundation for West Africa — Climate Change Journalism Fellowship
The Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) accepts applications for the Climate Change Journalism Fellowship. The aim is to train and capacitate local journalists to report on the climate change crisis and how it is affecting the lives and livelihoods in African countries. Fellows will work remotely from their home countries and participate in virtual training workshops, seminars, and speaking engagements.
