Lipman Family Prize — Funding for Social Change

Each year, the Lipman Family Prize awards cash to three social impact organizations – US$250 thousand for the winning organization and US$125 thousand for each of the two other honorees. The award recognizes and amplifies the work of organizations devoted to positive social impact and creating sustainable solutions to significant social and economic challenges. Past winners include projects in the field of improved sanitation, energy innovations, and micro-forestry. Dawn Project — Climate Change Ambassadors

The Dawn Project Competition 2025, themed “Generation Restoration: Shaping Our Future!”, invites individuals of all ages to creatively express their vision for environmental restoration and sustainability. The competition accepts a variety of artistic submissions, including essays, poetry, visual art, graphic design, music, and other innovative formats. Winners in each category will receive cash prizes. Entries have to be submitted by 31 July 2025. Link

Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft — Women in Agriculture Award

The Women in Ag Award honors women around the world who are leading innovation and sustainability in agriculture. Participants may apply in one of four categories: Farming, Agribusiness, Education, or Technology & Research. Women working in agriculture, research, agri-tech, education, or journalism are invited to submit a video and supporting materials showcasing their impact. Finalists will gain international visibility, and winners will be recognized at the AGRITECHNICA fair in Germany. The application deadline is 31 July 2025. Women in Ag Award

Canada Fund for Local Initiatives — Community Projects in China

The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives supports small-scale, high-impact projects in China. The priorities under this call include environment and climate action focusing on adaptation and mitigation, as well as on water management. The average contribution is C$10 thousand to C$40 thousand per project. Eligibility extends to local community organizations, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions. Simavi — Water Justice Fund

The Water Justice Fund supports advocacy, campaigns, learning, and evidence-based research to advance water justice and climate resilience with a feminist approach in Kenya, Bangladesh, and Nepal. Individual grants are up to €5 thousand per year. Organizational grants (organizations, networks, collectives) are up to €10 thousand per year. The fund is open to organizations, networks, collectives, and individuals based in Kenya, Bangladesh, or Nepal. Applications have to be submitted by 04 July 2025. Water Justice Fund

Women and Gender Constituency — Gender Just Climate Solutions Award 2025

The Women & Gender Constituency invites applications for the Gender Just Climate Solutions Awards. The awards aim to showcase real solutions for a more just, equal, and healthy planet, such as non-technical climate solutions, technical climate solutions, and transformational climate initiatives with a women or gender perspective. Three winners will each receive € 5,000 and a chance to attend the COPs. All types of activist, grassroots, and women-led organizations working on issues related to climate change from all over the world are encouraged to apply. Centre for Science and Environment — Green School Activation Program

The Green School Activation Program (GSAP) is aimed at promoting green education through a whole-school approach in secondary schools. GSAP is designed to restore green and healthy learning environments, enhance food security through vertical gardens, strengthen climate education, and embed circular economy practices in schools. To be eligible for the Green School Activation Programme, applicants must currently be teaching in Abuja, Lagos, or Oyo State. The deadline for submission is 15 July 2025. Earth Journalism Network — Media Partnership Reporting Fellowships to COP30

The Climate Change Media Partnership announces the COP30 Reporting Fellowship Program for journalists from low- and middle-income countries interested in covering the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30). The Fellowship will cover economy-class airfare, accommodation, meals, travel medical insurance, and ground transportation costs related to participation. The deadline is 15 July 2025. Link

Earth Journalism Network — Fellowship for Social Media Creators and Journalists in South and Southeast Asia

The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) seeks social media content creators curious to learn more about biodiversity issues and incorporate journalism skills, as well as environmental journalists interested in building their social media skills for a joint fellowship program designed to enable both groups to share insights and create evidence-based and engaging biodiversity-related content on social media. EJN will offer US$2,000 each to 10 social media content creators and 10 journalists across South and Southeast Asia. Social media content creators and journalists based in South and Southeast Asia are eligible. The application deadline is 16 July 2025. French Institutes for Advanced Study — Fellowship Program

The French Institutes for Advanced Study Fellowship Programme offers 10-month fellowships at the seven Institutes of Aix Marseille, Cergy, Loire Valley (Orléans-Tours), Lyon, Montpellier, Nantes and Paris. It welcomes applications from high-level international scholars and scientists to develop their innovative research projects in France. The FIAS Fellowship Programme is open to all disciplines in the Social Sciences and the Humanities. Fellows receive a living allowance (2,200€ per month), social security coverage, accommodation, a research and training budget, plus coverage of travel expenses.
