The United Nations Development Programme in Africa (UNDP Africa) seeks youth from the Sahel Region willing to pitch their innovative solutions to a panel of judges at the YouthConnekt Sahel Forum. UNDP Africa is interested in innovative ideas from a broad range of topics, including agroforestry and climate change mitigation/adaptation, driving the region’s transformation. U.S. Mission to Zimbabwe — Funding for Community Organizations
The U.S. Ambassador’s Special Self-Help Fund (SSH) announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out a small, community-based development program. The program awards grants to non-profit, community-based organizations to implement short-term (12-month), small-scale (between US$2,500 and US$8,000) development projects that include significant community involvement. Priority consideration is given to income generating projects that improve basic economic or social conditions at the village level, which may include projects in sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and access to clean water and sanitation. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) seeks applications for a cooperative agreement from qualified organizations to implement Somalia’s Market Based Resilience for Marginalized Populations (MB-RMP) Activity.
