D-BAW — Seed Grant for Community Impact

The D-BAW Seed Grant for Community Impact supports grassroots initiatives and community-driven projects aimed at creating sustainable social change. This program offers grants of up to US$5 thousand to registered non-profit organizations, community groups, and social enterprises operating in any country. The funding is intended to kickstart small-scale projects that address local challenges in areas such as education, environmental sustainability, and health. Youth Learning as Citizen Environmental Scientists — Environmental Education Grants

Youth Learning as Citizen Environmental Scientists (YLACES) invites applications for its grant programs to support youth-led environmental research and data collection. The program provides educators and organizations with funding to purchase scientific instruments and supplies or to host student research symposia. Eligible applicants include K-12 educators and educational organizations in the United States, as well as international educators in countries participating in the GLOBE Program. US-based applicants can receive up to US$1,500 for equipment or up to US$5,000 for symposia, while international applicants are eligible for equipment grants of up to US$1,500 with a national GLOBE coordinator’s endorsement. Commonwealth Scholarship Commission — Distance Learning for Masters Courses in the UK

The Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships support distance learning Master’s degree courses offered in partnership with local providers in developing countries, as well as courses delivered directly by UK universities. The available offerings include agriculture; tropical forestry; veterinary medicine; environmental management; conservation and wildlife management; risk and disaster management; and others. Eligibility for support extends to Commonwealth citizens of developing Commonwealth countries, refugees, and British-protected persons. Applicants must be permanent residents of a developing Commonwealth country and meet the entry educational requirements. The application deadline is 31 March 2026. Food 4 Future — Food Tech Innovation Awards

The Food Tech Innovation Awards 2026 recognize the most innovative proposals that offer a disruptive approach to Customer Experience or Management. The award has 6 categories: digitalization award for the food and beverage industry; best sustainability project; healthy food; the best innovation project for the packaging industry; the most innovative food tech startup; and the best automation and robotics solution. The FoodTech Innovation Awards are open to all companies, universities, business schools, researchers, journalists, and start-ups from all over the world. Nature Research — Awards for Inspiring Women in Science

Nature Research seeks applications for the Nature Research Award. The Scientific Achievement Category celebrates an outstanding female early-career researcher, the Science Outreach Category will honor an individual or organization who has driven initiatives to encourage girls or young women to engage with STEM subjects around the world. Alstom Foundation — Project Support for NGOs

The Alstom Foundation invites project proposals from NGOs in eligible countries in the Asia-Pacific region, South Asia, Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa (a full list of eligible countries is provided in the call for proposals). The Foundation supports a range of activities, including economic and social development, environmental protection, access to mobility, and access to energy and water. Falling Walls Foundation — Global Call for Science Breakthroughs

The Falling Walls Foundation invites nominations and applications for its Global Call to identify the most significant scientific breakthroughs of the year. The program recognizes outstanding research and innovative projects across eight categories: Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Social Sciences and Humanities, Art and Science, Women’s Impact, Science Start-ups, and Science Engagement. Eligible applicants include individual researchers, entrepreneurs, academic institutions, and organizations from any country. Laureates receive international visibility, travel and accommodation for the Falling Walls Science Summit in Berlin, and access to a global network of decision-makers. Pulitzer Center — Africa Impact Seed Funding

The Pulitzer Center invites applications for the Africa Impact Seed Funding to support micro-scale education projects that address socio-ecological challenges. Open to K-12 teachers, lecturers, researchers, and student groups based in Africa, the program funds activities that utilize Pulitzer Center reporting on rainforests, oceans, and climate change. Projects must be implemented within a four-month period and demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Elephant Managers Association — Small Grants Program

The Elephant Managers Association (EMA) accepts proposals focused on field-based conservation projects in Africa and Asia. Projects should have a significant impact on resolving current or urgent elephant-related issues. Higher priority will be given to proposals that provide education and community outreach, provide capacity-building in local communities, and improve captive elephant management and welfare.
