MDPI — Water Travel Award 2024

MDPI, a publisher of peer-reviewed, open access journals, invites applications for the 2024 Water Travel Awards. Three awards of CHF 800 each will go to junior scientists to present an oral presentation and/or poster at an international conference in 2024. Applicants must be postdoctoral researchers or Ph.D. students working in the field of water or related areas. Applications have to be submitted by 31 January 2024. Click here

MDPI, a publisher of peer-reviewed, open access journals, invites applications for the Water 2024 Best Paper Award for research and review articles published in Water in 2022. Two reviews and two research articles will receive an award each. The prize consists of CHF800. Applications have to be submitted by 31 March 2024. Details

Sahee Foundation — Development in Swaziland and Peru

The Sahee Foundation makes grants for agriculture, health, education, and environment in Swaziland and Peru. Sahee selects its partners among regional organizations that are well integrated in these target countries, as well as among local groups in Swaziland and Peru that launch development projects. For first applicants, the project budget must not exceed CHF10 thousand. There is no calendar deadline for applications. Details

UN Women Training Centre — Online Courses

UN Women offers free online courses across many subject areas through the global online platform for training for gender equality. Courses include the ‘2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Gender Equality’ which is directed to government representatives and public servants, officials from the UN System, international organizations, academics and the general public. Gray Matters Capital — coLABS Impact Investing Fund

coLABS seeks scalable social enterprises that have the potential to dramatically improve the lives of women and girls around the world. coLABS strategically funds entrepreneurs and early-stage ventures that leverage women, and their critical role in the community through revenue-share investment capital. Seed investment ranges from US$100 thousand to US$250 thousand. Focus regions are South Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Pre-screen forms can be submitted on a rolling basis. Details
