Blue Action Fund — Mangroves and Blue Carbon Conservation Grant

The Blue Action Fund invites proposals for projects that integrate mangrove conservation, restoration, and sustainable use with high-integrity blue carbon initiatives to advance biodiversity conservation, climate action, and sustainable coastal livelihoods. Projects must combine the establishment or improved management of protected areas (PAs) or Other Effective Area-based Conservation Measures (OECMs) with a credible pathway toward carbon credit generation. Eligible applicants are national and international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) proposing projects in India, Indonesia, the Philippines, or Vietnam. Grants range from €2 million to €4 million per project, with an implementation period of up to five years. The application deadline is 15 October 2026. Link
