The Explorers Club supports the scientific fieldwork of groundbreaking explorers around the globe. The Club offers five different grants: the Rising Explorer Grant (US$ 1,500 average) is open to high school students, college undergraduates, and independent researchers; the Exploration Fund Grant (US$ 2,500 – US$ 5,000 average) is designated especially for graduate/post-graduate students or early career scientists conducting fieldwork; the Rolex Explorers Club Grant (US$ 10 thousand) is focused on young explorers under the age of 35 who are conducting field research to address a novel scientific, environmental, or historic question; the Stephenson Explorers Advancement Program (US$ 10 thousand) is open to college undergraduates/graduate students, and independent explorers under the age of 35 conducting fieldwork focused specifically on marine research; the Fjallraven Field Grant (US$ 5 thousand) for explorers under the age of 35 doing fieldwork related to conservation, the environment, and/or sustainability; the Exodus Exploration without Boundaries Grant (US$ 4 thousand) supports expeditions that further our understanding of the world through scientific, cultural and conservation fieldwork.
