The European Union (EU) calls for proposals for agro-tech development to support and promote green and circular economy in Sierra Leone. The priorities are to promote livelihood of rural communities as a way to reduce degradation of natural resources and biodiversity and to promote the agro-industry sector through innovation technology (e.g., sustainable energy for agro-industry, climate smart technology solutions, etc.). The overall funding amount is €8 million. Eligibility extends to organizations, farmer cooperatives, private legal entities and international organizations. The application deadline is 01 June 2021.
