Indo-U.S. Science and Technology Forum — Water Advanced Research and Innovation Fellowships

The Water Advanced Research and Innovation Fellowships fund Indian participants to gain exposure and access to research facilities in water resources at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the Daugherty Water for Food Institute. Fellowships of three to twelve months are for Indian scientists holding a PhD in water science and engineering. Internships of three to six months are for individuals currently engaged in their PhD studies in water sciences in India. The application deadline is 30 September 2019. Link

World Hunger Fighters Foundation — Fellowship for African Youths

The World Hunger Fighters Foundation seeks applications for the Borlaug-Adesina Fellowship. The fellowship program is aimed at African youths between the ages of 21 and 30 years old. The fellows will be invited to attend the WHFF Africa Youth Institute at the World Food Prize Foundation in Iowa (USA). The deadline for applications is 31 July 2019. Click here

INK Fellows Program — Innovators and Change Makers 2019

The INK Fellows Program brings together young innovators and change makers from India and other emerging economies in a supportive peer group, and offers them media exposure to accelerate their ability to impact society. Candidates range from ages 18 to 40 in any professional field. UNESCO — Keizo Obuchi Research Fellowships Programme 2019

With funding from the government of Japan, UNESCO announces the current cycle of the Keizo Obuchi Research Fellowships. The program is open to post-graduate researchers no older than age 40 who wish to pursue research work abroad (preferably in their own region) in any of four specific fields. These fields include environment — with particular emphasis on disaster risk reduction (DRR). Applications are invited from all Member States. Grants are a maximum of US$10 thousand. United Nations — Ocean Law Fellowship Programme

The United Nations Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea (DOALOS) and the Nippon Foundation seek applications for a 9-month Fellowship Programme. The Programme seeks to provide the necessary knowledge and skills to assist developing States towards the formulation of comprehensive ocean law and policy. Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa — Capacity Development in Agricultural Research

The Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) invites applications for the Agricultural Research and Innovation Fellowship for Africa (ARIFA). Qualified African candidates will be trained in ARIFA-affiliated universities and centers of Agricultural Research for Development (AR4D) in affiliated countries abroad. The fellowship covers international air travel, tuition fees and a monthly stipend. Applicants must be under 35 years old and be citizens of one of the following countries: Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Niger, Kenya, Sudan, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda. The IUSSTF invites Indian women to apply for the Indo-U.S. Fellowship for Women in STEMM (WISTEMM)” (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine) program at reputed scientific/technological institutions in the USA. Project research areas include agricultural sciences, among many others. The program includes health insurance, airfare, and a monthly stipend of US$2,500. Eligibility extends to Indian women currently pursuing Ph.D. degree in Basic Sciences, Engineering or Technology on a full-time basis at any recognized academic institution/R&D institute/university in India. German Academic Exchange Service — Postdoctoral Researchers International Mobility Experience 2019

DAAD collaborates with the EC’s Marie Curie Program to offer the Postdoctoral Researchers International Mobility Experience (PRIME) for outstanding postdoctoral researchers across all disciplines and nationalities. Funding is provided for 18 months, of which 12 months are spent abroad and 6 months at a German university. The funding consists of salaries instead of scholarships.
