Fiat Panis Foundation — Hermann Eiselen Science Award 2024

The Fiat Panis Foundation makes awards for university thesis and dissertation research in themes of agriculture and natural resources, with a focus on food security in developing countries. The Hermann Eiselen Science Award is made to a young scientist who focuses on helping to reduce hunger and malnutrition through agricultural research. The value of the award is €30 thousand. Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency — Disaster Emergency Funding

The Caribbean Disaster Management Agency provides Country Directed Funds seeks to build the resilience of Caribbean states to disaster risks and climate change impacts. The Country Directed Fund consists of grants of up to a maximum of €60 thousand. National Disaster Management Offices and relevant national agencies responsible for CDM implementation from the following states may apply: Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, St. Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago. Paul K. Feyerabend Foundation — Community and Solidarity

The PKF Foundation makes grants in support of grassroots conservation, land and resource rights of indigenous and local communities, and traditional knowledge in managing natural resources. PKF’s projects focus heavily on communities in developing countries. PKF works through a network of nominators. Grant seekers approach the Foundation through these nominators. For applicants who do not know any nominators, PKF provides an email contact address. The maximum grant is €10 thousand for one or two years. The period for submission is 1 January – 30 April of the year concerned. Find out more

UN Environment — International Green Gown Awards

The International Green Gown Awards recognize exceptional climate sustainability initiatives being undertaken by universities and colleges. Students and universities are invited to submit solutions to the climate and environmental crisis. The Awards are open to any university or college across the world.
