The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) offers story grants of up to US$2,500 to journalists to produce stories on transnational conservation crimes in the Amazon Region and the threats faced by Indigenous peoples and local communities in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, and Peru. Applicants can be based in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, and Peru; applicants residing in the Amazon region of these countries are preferred. Applications are open to journalists working in any medium (online, print, television, radio) and other expert media practitioners with professional reporting experience.
