Harvard Forest — Fellowship in Forest Research

The Charles Bullard Fellowship in Forest Research supports advanced research and study by individuals. The fellowships are generally awarded to individuals in mid-career from all around the world who have established themselves in academia, public service, or in the private sector. Research areas include, for example, forest ecology, tree physiology, forest soils, forest resource management, conservation and biodiversity issues, forest land planning, and the arts. The Bullard Fellowship is a residential program and Fellows are expected to spend a substantial portion at either Harvard Forest in Petersham (USA) or at Harvard University in Cambridge (USA). The fellowships carry stipends up to US$60 thousand, depending on the duration of each fellowship. International researchers receive additional support for visa process and logistics.
