Western Indian Ocean Marine Science Association — PhD Fellowship in Marine Science

The Western Indian Ocean Marine Science Association (WIOMSA) and the University of Dar es Salaam invite applications for a PhD fellowship focused on marine science. This opportunity is open to individual researchers from the Western Indian Ocean region who hold a Master of Science degree in marine science, biology, chemistry, or a related field. The selected candidate will conduct research on “The Role of Mangroves and Seagrasses in Coastal Carbon Cycling” at the Institute of Marine Sciences in Zanzibar, Tanzania.
