The Sustainable Urbanization Global Initiative on the Food-Water-Energy Nexus is a joint effort of the Belmont Forum and Urban Europe. The objective is to promote international collaborative research that aims to find solutions to the Food-Water-Energy nexus for sustainable urbanization. Participation in the initiative includes research organizations in member states of the EU plus research institutions in each of Argentina, Brazil, Qatar, Japan, South Africa, Taiwan, Turkey, and USA.
