The Lawrence Foundation makes grants to U.S. nonprofit organizations for projects in environment, human services, and other themes. There is no restriction on the geographical area where grant activities can be implemented. The average grant size is between US$5 thousand and US$10 thousand. The Student Solidarity Awards aim to encourage associations of students in institutions of higher education to take initiatives in community-oriented projects. The World Conservation Union in the Netherlands (IUCN-Netherlands) provides grants up to €85 thousand for the purchase and protection of threatened wildlife habitats and vulnerable ecosystems in Asia, Asia-Pacific countries, Africa, and Latin America. The Trust for Mutual Understanding (TMU) makes grants to nonprofit organizations in the USA for environmental projects in collaboration with partners in the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. University of Nottingham — Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship 2022
The University of Nottingham provides international scholarships for postgraduate masters courses to nationals of Africa, India, or countries of the Commonwealth. Thematic areas include engineering and sciences. Priority will be given to candidates who have not previously studied outside of their home country. The Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand and the UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education in the Netherlands offer Joint Degree Master’s programs in “Environmental Technology for Sustainable Development”, “Urban Water Engineering and Management “, and “Agricultural Water Management for Enhanced Land and Water Productivity”.
