Grants for advanced research on endangered animals and ecosystems, climate change, and medical applications

The Eppley Foundation for Research funds projects in medicine, life sciences, and the physical sciences. Areas of interest include innovative medical investigations and applications; endangered animals and ecosystems; and climate change.

Grant Programs for Agriculture, Energy, Environment, Natural Resources

Grants for Advanced Scientific Research. The Eppley Foundation supports advanced, novel, scientific research by PhDs or MDs with established records of publications in their specialties. These specialties include endangered animals and ecosystems; climate change; and others. Past grants include examples related to conservation and ecology in Africa, China, and elsewhere.

Applicants for grants must be associated with recognized nonprofit educational or research institutions that have 501(c)3 status in the USA. Funds are not issued directly to individuals.

Grants may be awarded for research internationally when applicants are based in the USA or are associated with U.S. institutions that will administer the grants.

Most grants are under US$25 thousand.

About the program

APPLICATION: The Foundation invites short letters of inquiry. Applicants fill in an application form accompanied by a budget, letters of reference, and CVs for each investigator.

There are two submission deadlines per year.
