Leadership Grants: Leadership Grants are open to organizations that are recognized as leaders in water programs in Canada, the USA, and other countries where RBC does business. RBC makes grants from CAN$10 thousand to CAN$100 thousand to nonprofit charitable organizations, which may work in partnership with other organizations. Community Action Grants: These focus on watershed protection by local and community organizations in Canada, the USA, and the Caribbean. Grants range from CAN$1 thousand to CAN$10 thousand. Applications describe the applying organization; the program or project for which funding is requested; and the organization’s budget and financial situation. In both categories, the Blue Water Project posts annual application deadlines. About how to apply Geographical Distribution of Grant Activities in Developing Countries RBC accepts applications for projects that operate in countries where the bank does business, including the developing countries identified below. Southeast Asia and Pacific Islands: Brunei East Asia: China South Asia: India Middle East and North Africa: United Arab Emirates Latin America and Caribbean: Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Bahamas, Barbados, Brazil, Dominica, Mexico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Uruguay, Venezuela Note: RBC is present in several Caribbean territories not recognized as countries in the Terra Viva Grants Directory: Cayman Islands, Montserrat, and Turks and Caicos Islands.
