Smallholder Agriculture in Peru. The Fund takes a broad and integrated view of means to assist family farming in Peru. Beneficiaries are rural households, enterprises, and cooperatives. Projects focus on education and capacity building; enterprise development; start-up funding; technical support; alternative rural livelihoods; and other cross-cutting issues.

Grants are to nonprofit charitable organizations in the USA and to organizations in Peru with equivalent charitable status, or that have a fiscal sponsor in the USA. The Fund is also willing to consider applications from for-profit companies that have a social mission.

There is no minimum or maximum grant size. However, the Fund will not finance more than 50% of a project’s budget.
