Through its program FISONG, the AFD will make grants for field projects in two themes in 2012: (i) Biodiversity and Development; and (ii) Water and Sanitation. The program favors projects in countries which are priority for French assistance in Sub-Saharan Africa. Both themes emphasize benefits for local populations. The program is open to French, international, and local NGOs -- preferably in partnerships -- for projects that average three years. The application deadline is 29 February 2012. Link
