The Energy Globe Award is for projects that conserve and protect natural resources, or that employ renewable energy. The winner in each category ("earth," "water," "fire," "air," and "youth") is awarded €10 thousand. Applicants can be individuals as well as organizations (i.e., private companies and corporations, development NGOs, community associations, government agencies, and others). Applications are accepted in English, German, French, and Spanish. The deadline for submissions is 15 June 2012. Link
